"El sueño imposible (La búsqueda)" (Eng.)

Soñar, un sueño imposible,

Luchar, contra enemigo invencible,

Soportar, un dolor insoportable,

Correr, donde aún los valientes no osan ir.

Corregir, el mal irreprensible,

Amar, puro y casto, de lejos,

Intentar, aún si tus brazos estén agotados

Para alcanzar ésa estrella inalcanzable.

Ésta es mi búsqueda:

Seguir a ésa estrella,

No importa cuán desesperado sea,

No importa cuán lejos esté.

Luchar, por la justicia,

Sin preguntas ni pausas,

Estar, dispuesto a marchar

Al infierno, por esa causa celestial.

Y sé, que solo siendo fiel

A esta búsqueda gloriosa,

Mi corazón estará en paz y calma

Cuando me llegue la hora de descansar.

Y el mundo será mejor por esto:

Un hombre despreciado, cubierto de cicatrices,

Luchó, aún con su última pizca de coraje.

Contra el enemigo imbatible.

Para, al fin alcanzar, ésa su estrella inalcanzable.

To dream the impossible dream,
To fight the unbeatable foe,
To bear with unbearable sorrow,
To run where the brave dare not go.

To right the unrightable wrong,
To love pure and chaste from afar,
To try when your arms are too weary,
To reach the unreachable star.

This is my quest,
To follow that star 
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far.

To fight for the right

Into hell for a heavenly cause.

To this glorious quest
